SPONY Annual Meeting 2025

The Smith Park of NY (SPONY) Annual Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 at 10am EST

Annual Meeting of the Membership of Smith Park of New York, Inc.

All members should be advised that the Annual Meeting of Smith Park of New York, Inc. is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 10am EST. 

 

Our Board of Directors and Executive Camp Director will present committee updates and answer member questions. The meeting will be held virtually using Google Meet, and members can cast their vote on motions using the Ballot & Proxy Form at the bottom of this page until 10:45am EST on the day of the meeting.

​Motions to be voted on by the Membership:

There are four (4) motions on the ballot:

  1. Motion to approve Beth Hodos as Director of the Board for SPONY for a term of 3 years beginning March 22, 2025.

  2. Motion to approve John Dunn as Director of the Board for SPONY for a term of 3 years beginning March 22, 2025.

  3. Motion to approve Robert Quaye as Director of the Board for SPONY for a term of 3 years beginning March 22, 2025.

  4. Motion to approve the amended and restated bylaws as prepared by SPONY's attorney to remain in compliance with state and federal non-profit law.

Members may review the proposed bylaws ahead of the meeting. Should you have any questions prior to voting on the revised bylaws, please contact Director Isaac Graves (isaac@smithpark.org), who will make himself available to respond to all members on behalf of the SPONY board.

SPONY Annual Meeting Ballot & Proxy Form

This is the ballot to be used by individual members of Smith Park of NY (SPONY) for the vote at the Annual Meeting on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025. Voting ballots are collected until 10:45am on the day of the meeting. Voting will also be available, live online, during the Smith Park Annual Meeting, which begins at 10am the same day.


Note: An individual member is a person eighteen (18) years or older who has made a membership contribution as determined by resolution approved by a majority of the Board of Directors within the previous (12) months prior to the Annual Meeting of the Members and who affirmatively renews such membership at the Annual Meeting of Members (either in person or by proxy).
