Discover the natural charm of Camp WA WA Segowea, tucked away in the serene Berkshire Mountains in southwestern Massachusetts. It's a place where your wedding, retreat, or special event can take on a life of its own, surrounded by a peaceful lake, rustic lodge, dining hall, kitchen, cabins, and an outdoor chapel. Accommodations include camper and staff cabins, as well as campsites on property.
Overview
Grounds
The main camp is surrounded by 450+ acres of private land, which encompasses a small lake. The main buildings include our almost 100-year-old lake-side Main Lodge, attached to our kitchen and Dining Hall. Ringing "base camp" are 11 rustic camper cabins, behind which lies a bonfire area.
Tucked nearby, we have an outdoor "chapel" - featuring a small platform, long benches and beautiful views.
The Main Lodge boasts spacious front and side porches perfect for congregating in fresh air, rain or shine, as well as a spacious sheltered area for dining and dancing. The front porch leads directly to the Parade Field, a versatile, grassy flat area near the waterfront, perfect for various activities.
Weather/season permitting, our waterfront area features access to rowboats, canoes, and paddleboards as well as a dedicated fishing dock.

Note that this is a remote area - cell service is almost non-existent, so plan accordingly. Some folks see this as a plus!
Dining
Our venue offers a variety of dining settings to suit your needs. Choose from the Dining Hall, the Main Lodge, or the Parade Field for larger gatherings, or opt for the intimate lakeside porch for smaller groups. We also provide a fully equipped kitchen located between the Dining Hall and Main Lodge for your chosen chef or caterer. Please note that specialized wedding-quality tables and seating will need to be arranged separately.
Accomodations
There are several staff cabins available for sleeping arraignments, as well as camper cabins and campsites on property. Click on the button below to see details about the cabins. Hart Lodge Sleeps 6. 3 bedrooms, 4 twins and one bunk bed. Includes 2 bathrooms, a kitchennette and small shared living space. This is the only building with heat and the only one that is wheelchair accessible. Keller Cabin Sleeps 3-4. 2 bedrooms, 1 full bed and 2 twins. Includes a bathroom (w/ shower and small bathtub), a very small kitchenette, a shared living space, and an outside deck overlooking the lake. Raymond Cabin Sleeps 2-4. 2 bedrooms. Includes a bathroom (w/ shower) and a shared living space. Beautiful forest views. Camper Cabins Located on our cabin row overlooking the lake, these rustic cabins are where our campers sleep. There are 11 cabins that can sleep 8 people each. Toilets and shower facilities are located at the end of the row at "Mt. Beacon". Camp Sites There are several camp sites around the property suitable for tents, including "up the hill" and across the lake.

The Berkshires' blend of rustic charm and elegance is ideal for couples seeking a romantic and intimate atmosphere.
