"My child said his experience was a 10 out of 10! His favorite things were hanging out with his friends, and playing all camp games. He can’t wait to be back next year."
- Mom of nine-year-old Base Camper
Overview
Ages: 7-13
This is where the magic begins for most campers! Campers live in a simple rustic cabin with six to eight bunkmates of similar age and gender, and two counselors. These cabin groups create a family unit that eats meals together, and takes responsibility for shared chores around camp.
We strive to build a weekly program that appeals to campers of many abilities and interests. Alumni will say that we are a "duct tape and cardboard camp" and there is a lot of truth to that statement! Each day we enjoy creating games that are full of camper driven creativity, problem solving, and allow for plenty of camper choice.
